Our Provider & Treatment Approach

PHILOSOPHY

Jessica Hilbert

PMHNP-BC, CIMHP, ADHD-CCSP

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, my path naturally evolved into becoming a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Motivated to deliver more personalized, transformative care, I’ve dedicated my career to reshaping how mental health is approached—using an integrative, holistic model grounded in evidence-based treatment and whole-person wellness.

My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including hospice, crisis stabilization units, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, VA mental health clinics, youth group homes, and private practice. I’ve had the privilege of supporting Veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people from all walks of life through every stage of their mental health journey.

While I work with individuals aged 16 and older, I have pursued advanced training in women’s mental health, with a particular focus on hormonal transitions—including premenstrual exacerbation (PME), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), perinatal and postpartum mental health, and the perimenopausal to menopausal stages. I also have a strong passion for and advanced training in assessing and treating ADHD in adults, particularly women, where symptoms often intersect with hormonal and life-stage changes. These hormonal shifts can contribute to brain fog, fatigue, mood changes, anxiety, and sleep disruptions. My integrative approach aims to uncover root causes and provide targeted relief through thoughtful medication management, supportive therapy, and evidence-informed lifestyle strategies.

In addition to holding certifications as an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) and a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP), I specialize in bridging traditional psychiatry with functional, nutrition-informed care. I may incorporate customized nutrition and supplement protocols designed to support neurotransmitter balance, reduce inflammation, and promote nervous system regulation—especially for ADHD, depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, and other neuropsychiatric concerns.

I’ve completed the year-long Functional Medicine Fellowship through the Kalish Institute, receiving advanced clinical training in systems biology, root-cause diagnostics, and individualized treatment planning. I’ve also trained with Psychiatry Redefined, the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, and other leading organizations. This specialized education has equipped me to assess and address the biological, nutritional, and environmental factors influencing emotional and cognitive well-being—deepening my commitment to a truly integrative, precision-based approach to mental health.

My approach combines thoughtful prescribing with whole-person strategies to support your mental health. I integrate supportive therapies, cognitive-behavioral tools, executive function coaching, and psychoeducation to help you build emotional resilience and practical skills for lasting stability. Every treatment plan is personalized, collaborative, and rooted in trust and dignity.

Healing is a shared journey, and you deserve a safe, nonjudgmental space to feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether managing a chronic condition, navigating life transitions, or seeking to optimize your mental health, I’m here to guide you with compassion and clarity.

Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors in good weather, spending time with friends and family, and managing a full household that includes children, two dogs, a cat, and a tortoise. I love the ocean, enjoy hiking (preferably without ticks), and appreciate a good laugh. Like many, I’m up for a cozy movie night, some much-needed self-care, a memorable meal, and the occasional vacation to reset. We can all benefit from striving for balance, and I look forward to exploring what that looks like for each person I work with.
